



Soprano Molly Ryan is a recent araduate of a Masters of Opera from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she studied under Maree Rvan AM on scholarship. In 2025 she has performed the roles of Contessa in Le nozze di Figard (Mozart] in Vienna with the Prague Summer Nights Music Festival and l'Opinion Publique in Orphée aux enfers (0ffenbach) with Sydney Conservatorium and NIDA. Additionally with the opera school, in 2024 Molly created and debuted the principal roles of Mother in The Lullaby (Zhen] and Menarche (0'Donoghue) in the world premiere opera project, Mother, directed by Lindy Hume. She has launched a versatile career as a concert soloist, recitalist, and performed operatic roles ranging from early to contemporary works. Her recent concert engagements include soprano soloist of Haydn's Creation with Victoria Chorale in Melbourne, Eliza Aria from Kats-Chernin's Wild Swan Suite with Simone Young and the upcoming annual Händel's Messiah at the Sydney Town Hall
Molly has found success in several national competitions, including the Merenda Legacy Prize in the 2024 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition with the Opera Australia Orchestra, 2nd prize in the 2024 Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and 1st prize in the 2023 Demant Dreikurs Song Scholarship Competition. In 2025 she is a finalist of the 101st Herald Sun Aria with the Melbourne Opera Orchestra.
