The winner of the 2007 German-Australian Opera Grant will depart for Germany in June 2007 and become an ensemble member at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden for one year.

Soprano

Currently performing the role of 1st Wood-Nymphs in Opera Australia‘s Rusalka. 1998 - 2003 ensemble member in the opera houses Cologne, Strassburg and Freiburg

Baritone

Ensemble member of Opera Queensland, Winner of the 2005 Liederfest – performed in Germany

Featuring excerpts from Brett Carter‘s repertoire and also arias from Sarah Crane and Shaun Brown, who both have performed in Germany and can give us an insight about their experience as young Australian singers in Germany.

8.30pm - 9.30pm - Drinks and Fingerfood
